Firstly this place has no website and their sign on Google is blurry so it's good they at least have a location to go from.
When you park in the back and walk up, the neighbours outshine them completely making this place look abandoned in contrast but open those doors and walk in cause they're friendly and cook well.

The lady was super friendly and efficient, the food was great and quite different from your typical restaurant (obviously).

My favourite part was watching the Ethiopian music videos and finally finding hope that I could dance in a boy band somewhere on this planet.

We also decided that this place would be great for a low expectations first date to see how a date handles culture shock, eating with utensils and under-delivering on class. (If she's a winner, take her somewhere amazing on the second date)

Owner needs to rent or purchase a new building ASAP as she is obviously not educated enough to understand how run down and unwelcoming the interior of this location is to any Canadian to ever want to return after a first visit.

I kid you not when I tell you that even the bathroom door locks don't even work and there wasn't even toilet paper in them. The interior was put together like it was out of an Ethiopian shanty town.

It would be hard for you to find a more run down interior of a restaurant in all of London, the place needs to be condemned and entirely renovated.

Owner did not even want to turn up the heat in winter time to a reasonable level, had to wear my winter jacket while eating so I would not freeze.

Owner must be on her last pennies, she should close before she loses everything and start over somewhere else, much smaller, much cleaner and updated, the only people who go here are local Ethiopians who have a much lower standard of restaurant interior quality.

Food is fine, but that won't save this restaurant from going out of business if massive changes are not made, or preferably the owner moves to a whole new location so she does not need to renovate this dump, the owner needs to seriously act upon my advice, watch some episodes of "Restaurant Impossible" to get some basic education on how to upkeep and run a restaurant that people will actually return to consistently. Owner needs serious help about this issue and needs to reach out and trust others to help her in this.

Great tasting and healthy option for food!

The owner seems to have converted her house into a small restaurant with a decent amount of seating. The young daughter also seems to wander around. I went in the afternoon and my group of friends were the only ones there. It is a little further than most restaurants.

They have a fairly simple menu. I ordered a glass of water and some tibs and was pleasantly surprised at the portions and taste. The meat is cooked well and the meal tastes really fresh.

If you're looking for an interesting option in the city of London, look no further than Enat!

This is one of the surviving Ethiopian restaurants in London, Ontario.  African Restaurant, close to the Western Fairgrounds, was my number one choice but shut down about two years ago.

Although I haven't been in a few years now, I remember the woman who runs the restaurant is very sweet and great to have a chat with.  The service is slow but you're paying for freshly cooked tibs. Like most traditional Ethiopian restaurants, there are both dishes vegetarian (i.e. lentils, chickpeas, collard greens) and non-vegetarian options (i.e. beef).

GROUP GATHERINGS: During my undergrad days, I'd organize group gatherings for a vegetarian social group; we'd have half a dozen people and we never had any issues.
